General procedure
The recipe

Occupational therapy is a medically prescribed treatment. Please speak to your paediatrician and describe to him/her the issues you have noticed with your child. Please bring the prescription with you to the first treatment. When treatment begins, the date of issue of the prescription should be maximal prior 28 days. If required and with the appropriate prescription, I also do home visits within a 10 km radius of the practice.

The costs

There are no prescription fees for children under 18. Adults pay 10% of the prescription value and the prescription fee of 10 euros, the rest is covered by the insurance company. If you are privately insured, I will invoice you for the cost of the treatment after the treatment has been completed. You can then submit this invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement. You will receive a fee agreement from me in advance, which you can submit to your insurance company or to the assistance office so that you can clarify in advance whether and to what extent the costs of the therapy will be covered. Please refer to your private health insurance contract for the amount of the reimbursement. In individual cases, the insurance offices may not fully reimburse the fee invoice! Please therefore clarify with your insurance company before starting treatment to what extent the costs of the treatment will be covered.

Registration

You must register your child for treatment in advance by phone or email .

I will then contact you immediately and we will agree upon the start of therapy.

What to bring

Bring socks or slippers for the children if necessary, as street shoes will be removed in the practice. If you already have any evaluations/reports, please bring these with you as well.

Cancel

Life is sometimes unpredictable. If you need to cancel an appointment, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. The easiest way is to call me.

You can also email me at least 24 hours in advance.

Video treatments and telephone treatment

Online treatments are now also possible. Treatment is carried out via video conference or telephone. It is billed via your current prescription. Your health insurance covers the treatment costs. This means that even as a high-risk patient you can continue therapy without direct contact or a longer break in treatment can be bridged so that the success of the treatment can be ensured.

If you cannot meet the deadline

Even if it is not your fault and you do not cancel an appointment in time, I will unfortunately have to invoice you privately for the appointment.
